Box Five Strong as Ever?

South Shore Harbor and surrounding communities that vote at Ferguson Elementary have long been consider the “box to win” in our local elections. Box 5 as it is known to be has often been the deciding box for those brave enough to run for office. This box is usually a conservative voice in any election. Predominantly Republican, this box has voted the other way in some past elections. For example Gean Leonard our Sheriff, who is a Democrat, received tremendous support from box five in past elections. I wonder how strong box five will be this year in our May election for city government? Will the Republicans stay home as predicted or will there be long lines as in the MEDD tax election were people in box five came out in droves to reject it? Will all the people in South Shore who have casey Montgomery Tad Nelson and Jerry Shults signs really get out and vote? Will box fivers just say "hohum" and continue watching tool time reruns?
